Zebra Print,Pinkness & Sparkles

Heya chicas,today I have tried to do something a little more challenging. For the past few months Ive played safe with my makeup and always done looks Im confident with and that I have a little practice in! Well today I thought I would add that little bit more to it! I had a brainstorm and put together something completely different with a little bit of color and sparkle added to it!

*DRUMROLL* I present my zebra print,pinkness and sparkles :D Aha this is what Ive called this look. Its the latest addition to my makeup portfolio {as part of my application to university}

For the eyes I used a white eyeshadow from FACEFIX, I then went on to completing the stripes with a black liquid eyeliner by Collection 2000. After I done the zebra stripes I thought hmm black and whites boring maybe a splash of color so I added a little pink line near the tear duct and a longer line at the corner of the eye! The eyelashes are Eyelure Girls Aloud-Nadine. Hmm *fun* For the lips I used a pink eyeliner and lipgloss by Barry M. I then went onto adding little gems with eyelash glue onto the lips giving it that little umph and adding abit of sparkle and glamour! And I had my newest look!

I absolutely love it and Im very pleased with myself.This is my second attempt at zebra print and this is definately an improvement to the first {check my blog}

Heres the completed look.

Barbie Inspired Makeup

Heya chicas, this is another look I put together from a MAC picture which I always see about on the internet. I have always loved this look and put together a look yesterday inspired by this picture. The colors are very summery and girly and compliment eachother very well.

The colors I used are from my Arabic eyeshadow palette. The green is a very light spring green that is shimmery and fresh and the pink which has been used is a very pigmented and girly barbie pink. For the lips I used BARRY M bubblegum lipgloss and BARRY M pink eye/lipliner. The eyelashes used are the EYELURE GIRLS ALOUD LASHES-NADINE. This look is a very affordable look and a very easy look to achieve. It would be perfect for a fancy dress party/night out.

Here is the completed look.

Heya chicas, Ive recently received a couple of inbox questions asking about my eyelashes. Well let me tell you their NOT real. I know right? They look pretty natural not too much. The secret to this is EYELURE GIRLS ALOUD EYELASHES! Their great. I was abit apprehensive about buying them as I have bought different pairs of eyelashes from different manufacturers and they have been poop. But these eyelashes are a real bargain and absolute beauty's to wear.

I use NADINE'S eyelashes but you have the choice between Sarah,Nicole,Kimberly & Cheryl Cole aswell. I found that Nadines look the most natural and I havent tried the rest so I cant honestly say what they look like once they've been applied. Their very easy to apply and come with glue. You can find them in most stores. I usually get mine from my local pharmacy but you can find them in New look, Boots, Superdrugs & Savers for around £5

My routine on applying these lashes is one thats easy to learn so Im going to share it with you. I start off with my right eye (im right handed) but it doesnt really make a difference. I cleanse the area with a non oily cleanser to ensure theres no oil on my eyelid otherwise this may effect the eyelash sticking on. Next I prime my eyelashes with a little mascara just to make to easier for the eyelashes to blend in with my own. I take the eyelashes off the palette with a pair of tweezers and apply a little glue from right to left. Remember LESS IS MORE. Next I blow the glue for about 5 seconds to make it a little tacky and less wet. Starting from the corner of my eye I place the eyelash as closely as possible to my natural lashline as you want it to look natural and not too fake. Apply a little pressure once the eyelash is stuck and voila you have fake eyelashes. Repeat for the next eye. Also if you find the eyelash is a little long for your eye length simply trim down its easy.
You can maintain your false eyelashes by always putting them back on the try and into the box. Mine usually last for about 2 weeks.

Hope you enjoyed chicas. I will be updating my look with some SHU UEMURA eyelashes very soon & will write you a review!
